Lee Congdon

Lee Congdon
Chief Information Officer, Red Hat

Lee Congdon is responsible for Red Hat's global information systems, including the technology strategy, enterprise architecture, information technology governance, solutions delivery, and systems operations supporting the company. His role includes enabling Red Hat's business through services such as knowledge management, technology innovation, technology-enabled collaboration, and process improvement.

Congdon has over 25 years experience as an information technology leader. Prior to joining Red Hat, he was Managing Vice President, Information Technology at Capital One where he developed and delivered information technology solutions for the firm's corporate functions and Global Financial Services group. Before Capital One, Congdon was Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, at Nasdaq, where he led the organization's efforts to identify, implement, and operate technology solutions for Nasdaq Japan, Nasdaq Europe, and other strategic global ventures. Earlier, at Citicorp, Congdon led multiple global technology initiatives for the private bank and the corporate bank. Congdon began his career at IBM as an operating system developer and held several technology and technical marketing positions of increasing responsibility with that firm.


Marc Ferrentino

Marc Ferrentino
Chief Technical Architect, Salesforce.com

Marc joined Salesforce.com in February 2007. His responsibilities included early stage product development and marketing, evangelism of the Force.com platform, and promoting Salesforce.com's open source initiatives. Marc is also involved with developing Salesforce.com's Collaboration and Platform strategic direction. Prior to Salesforce.com, Marc served as the Vice President of Engineering at Vettro Corp, a global leader in mobile on-demand applications. Prior to Vettro, Marc served as Vice President of Development at InternetCash.com. Over the course of his career, Mr. Ferrentino has held technology positions at Goldman Sachs and Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has participated in the Masters of Statistics with a Concentration in Finance program at Columbia University.


Erik Troan

Erik Troan
Co-founder & CTO, rPath

Erik is responsible for all aspects of product design and implementation and for rPath's IT infrastructure. Prior to founding rPath, Erik served in multiple roles at Red Hat including Vice President of Product Engineering for several years as well as the Senior Director of Marketing and chief developer for Red Hat Software. During his tenure with the company Erik was responsible for leading development for Red Hat Linux, RPM, and Anaconda. He managed a multimillion-dollar budget, participated in two public stock offerings and assisted in acquiring and integrating nine other companies. Erik has co-authored two editions of Linux Application Development. He holds BS degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. Since May 2007, Erik also serves on the Board of Directors for Digium, Inc.


Roland Wartenberg

Roland Wartenberg
Director, Business Development, Strategic Alliances Citrix Systems

In July of this year, Roland decided to take on a new challenge and joined Citrix's business development team where he is responsible for the strategic alliances with SAP and other ISVs. Citrix is flying high these days due in part to products like its desktop virtualization program, XenDesktop, is designed to allow desktop computers to run applications from other machines over the cloud-computing environment. From July 1997 on Roland was with SAP in various positions in application development, product management, marketing and partner management, with a major focus on SAP's virtualization strategy as their Chief Virtualization Strategist. Roland holds a master of electrical engineering from the University of Saarland, Germany.


Steve Bulmer

Steve is a highly qualified technologist and IT strategist with over 27 years experience in information technology; with expertise in architecture development to meet the business requirements of dozens of companies across many industries. He has a demonstrated proven ability to successfully architect and assist in deploying complex infrastructure investment projects valued at over $10M.

During the past thirteen years with Consonus Technologies (formerly Strategic Technologies), Steve has been responsible for evolving, supporting and delivering the company's services around mission critical datacenter computing infrastructures. He devotes the majority of his time managing Consonus' Consulting and Advisory Services (CAS) which provides customers with methods for architecting, designing, and sizing enterprise-class highly available geographic redundant, technical solutions. He remains at the forefront of applied technology, discovering new approaches to solving our client business needs, and overcoming the obstacles associated with technology advances. Steve is ITIL Foundation certified and consults with customers on improving processes within the IT organization for the sake of improving corporate capabilities through the application of technology.
